Buffalo Chicken Pizza
I have a confession: I love buffalo chicken pizza. It is such a non-traditional pizza topping yet I totally crave the combination of hot, saucy chicken bites smothered in cheese and cooled with ranch dressing. You can make this pizza as easy or as complicated as you like. Make your own dough and dressing or buy them pre-made. Quickly cook a single chicken breast or use about a cup of left over chicken bits. You can even sub blue cheese dressing or add a sprinkle of blue cheese crumbles and sliced green onions to the top before serving. Personally, I like this pizza simple but feel free to gussy it up to your tastes.
Buffalo Chicken Pizza
prep 30 min, cook 15 min- 1 large pizza crust
- 1/4-1/2 cup thick ranch dressing
- 1 (8 oz) chicken breast, cooked, sliced thinly
- 1 cup buffalo wing sauce, like Frank’s
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Spread pizza crust with ranch dressing.
- In a small bowl, combine hot sauce and chicken pieces.
- Spoon chicken evenly over crust and drizzle with remaining sauce as desired.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake pizza at 500°F for about 15 minutes or until cheese is browned.

My husband and I have recently been trying our hand at making good homemade pizza – this sounds great, we’ll have to try it!
I love the way your crust looks – it looks really fun, actually!

Sounds delicious. I just picked up a bottle of buffalo wing sauce with the idea of making a buffalo chicken mac and cheese, but now I think I’m reconsidering. I think pizza would be even better. Esp. grilled!

This pizza was DELICIOUS. It’s even better — and healthier — than the kind you get at restaurants or take-and-bake joints. My guests loved it and I have a feeling it will make great leftovers.
Also, it was so easy to make and it’s a really wallet-friendly shopping trip.
Excellent. Just excellent.

Your pizza looks great. Recently, I saw a post where somebody did a buffalo chicken pizza and I wanted to try it out on my grill tonight, but I didn’t have the recipe. Stumbled upon your site while doing a search. Hope the one I do tonight on my Big Green Egg turns out half as good as yours looks.

Thank you for a buffalo chicken piiza recipe that does NOT have blue cheese or any other kind of moldy cheese involved! Cant wait to try this out. Love how it is simple enough so you can jazz it up with some slivered red onion or scalions etc.

This was a huge hit with both my hot-sauce-loving boyfriend and my parents, who aren’t into the buffalo-hot type of flavor. I just added more sauce for my boyfriend, but they loved it!

Every single time I make this, when I transfer the pizza to the cutting board, ALL the toppings slide off the pizza….super disappointing and will look for another buffalo pizza recipe.
