i was introduced to corned beef this past winter on a cross country road trip. my husband and I had the most delicious corned beef sandwiches at a deli called Shapiro's in Indianapolis. I've never thought to make it myself!

PS: How is everything going?

Oh you just brought back a wonderful childhood memory. I really had forgotten that my mom would sometimes make corned beef, cabbage, carrots and potatoes in our crock pot. It wasn't all that often, but I loved it. Thanks Katie! I'll try this but without cabbage - hubby would probably gag heheh.
